Jane Bennet is a character in the book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. According to everyone whom has seen Jane, she is the most beautiful girl of all her four other sisters and she is much more accomplished (17). Jane is the eldest sister and she is important because she is a master of the deadly arts, like her sisters, and she uses her skills to kill zombies and defend the people of Neitherfield. Everyone in Neitherfield adores Jane because of her beauty and she gratified by her success but she's quieter about it unlike her mother (20). So far throughout the story Jane has remained static but she could change or remain the same as I continue through the plot.

The plot in the book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is unique from other books. Lizzy and her four other sisters, Jane, Mary, Kitty, And Lydia, all have a secret talent that they have perfected due to her father making them; their talent is being great at defeating zombies. In the beginning of the story the girls go to a ball where everyone danced except Lizzy because it's not something that she enjoys doing. Towards the middle of the dance zombies started to pour into the ball and they attacked any living thing (18). All the five sisters began attacking the zombies in a star shape position which their father called the "pentagram of death" (18). The whole scene took place in the rising action. This can cause a conflict because the sisters are supposed to be ladies and they can't defend themselves only a man could. My question for this scene is why were the five sister the only people saving the people from the zombies instead of a man or another person.
In the book Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, five sisters were taught by their father how to kill unmentionables (zombies). Their father thought it was mort important to know how to protect yourself than to marry a wealthy man like their mother thought. Every sister wants to marry a man execpt for one, her name is Elizbeth Bennet but they call her Lizzy. Lizzy is one of the main characters and she prefers to learn how to defend herself then to marry someone like her mother wants to. When all the sisters when to a party some unmentionables decided to stop by and all the sisters grabbed a dagger from their ankles and began attacking the unmentionable (18). Another main character is Mr. Darcy whom is a brave man that kills unmentionables. Mr. Darcy is a handsome guy but he is not a very likeable guy. On page 16 it states, "[Mr. Darcy]... his manners gave a disgust which turned his the tide of his popularity; for he was discovered to be to proud, to be above his company, and above being pleased." Mr. Darcy is a man with great features but his personality lacks kindness which is why many people don't like him. Elizabeth Bennet and him are different people with different personalities but they might get along through out the rest of the book.
In the "Red Queen", by Victoria Aveyard, Mare changes overtime since she was once a normal Red but then she discovered she was a Red with Silver powers. "As is customary, the officers are Silver, and Silvers have nothing to fear from us Reds"(5), when Mare stated that she said "us Reds" which means she is also referring to herself as a Red. "He never visits more than twice a year, and even then, he never stoops to entering a Red village like mine"(8), Mare clearly says that she lives in a Red village which is home to people whom are Reds. Everyone knows that the Silvers are the most powerful people and when Mare starts working for them she finds out something incredible but frightening about herself, "I look at my hands, my arms, marveling at the lightning as it glides over me"(71). "They fall harmlessly to the ground as the lightning blasts into the far wall. It leaves a smoking whole four feet wide, barely missing Evangeline"(72), Mare figures out how powerful and dangerous she can be can and she is left in awe by her newly found powers.
In the "Red Queen", by Victoria Aveyard an important scene that occurred was when the royal and powerful Silvers found out that Mare, a young Red peasant, had secret powers that she is not supposed to have. Mare Barrow is born into red blood which means that she is just a normal everyday girl, but the silver blooded have magical powers but for their powers to work there needs to be a source of what their power element is. The silvers are leaders and they're above all the reds and when Mare meets a silver boy named Cal who is disguised as red nothing can go well for her. Cal is the prince of the silvers and he gives Mare a job as a servant at his castle out of pity, so when she started serving the other houses of powerful silvers during a pageant (Queenstrial) to find a new princess for Cal and his younger brother, Maven, everything went bad. Evangeline Samos, a powerful Magnetron who is participating in the Queenstrial, manages to pull every metal item towards the cage which she is in to protect everyone from the Queenstrial participants and she manages to pull Mare towards the lightning cage which would kill anyone without powers, especially a red. Mare is comfortable with dying but as soon as she reaches the cage she's surprised that she's not dead and instead she has powers that protect her even though she is a red, "The shield kept trying to kill me, but it can't... I am alive"(71). She tries to escape because she is sure that the king will want to kill her but Cal knocks her out before she can leave. The Queen, Elara, wanted Mare dead instead of the King but Cal offered a way for Mare to not die. The Queen and King came up with a plan which is that Mare has to stay with the silvers and pretend she is one of them but she doesn't like the plan and if she doesn't go through with it, it may end up in her and her families death, "It sounds less like a pardon and more like a death threat" (87). Mare has a difficult decision since no one can know that she's a red but she doesn't want to be separated from her family. I wonder if anyone will find out that she is a red with silver powers and what would they o to her if they find out.
In A Game Of Thrones, Bran, a seven year old boy loves to climb. Since he was little he has adored climbing but his mother fears for his safety. " His mother often said that Bran could climb before he could walk... His mother was terrified that one day Bran would slip off a wall and kill himself." ( pg. 79) Bran was climbing one day when his siblings weren't around and his father was away to be the hand of the king. He climbed to the top of a tower and heard some voices so he decided to climb a little higher and eavesdrop. He peeked up and the people talking saw him so he tried to climb down but he was about to slip when a man caught him by the hand and pulled him up. When Bran was safe the man turned around and pushed him out the window. It states " He gave Bran a shove. Screaming, Bran went out the window into the air." ( pg. 85) It's a conflict because he loves climbing and since he became crippled because of the fall then he won't be able to climb anymore. Bran is depressed and angry because he can't believe he can't do what he's pationate about which is climbing. This is an internal conflict since Bran can't walk or climb or do things all by himself he feels useless.
There are many main characters in the book A Game Of Thrones but the first ones that I encountered were Bran, the son of Eddard Stark, Catelyn, Bran's mother married to Ned Stark, Eddard, also known as Ned is the ruler of Winterfell where the Stark family lives, Jon, son of Ned but not son of Catelyn. Bran is important because he loves climbing but he climbed to the top of a tower which no one is allowed to go to and he saw something he wasn't supposed to see and was pushed off the top and he ended up crippled. He claims that he doesn't remember if he was pushed or if he fell accidentally because he doesn't want someone to finish the job of killing him; his mother thinks that he was pushed. In the book it states, "He gave Bran a shove. Screaming, Bran went backward out the window into empty air." (pg. 85) Catelyn helps her husband run Winterfell when he's off on business with his friend the king. Ned is husband to Catelyn, he rules Winterfell where his whole family lives. He is friends with the king since his sister was supposed to be the kings wife but sadly she died. Jon is important because he is the son of Ned but not of Catelyn. While Ned was away at war he fathered a boy and immediately took him away from his mother. In the book it states, "... Ned had fathered a child on some girl chance met on campaign."(pg. 65) Jon knows that Catelyn doesn't like him and he knows that he's really not a true born Stark so he feels left out constantly.
